Art Work Shop Success!!

September 24th was a great day for the Atayal children and volunteers alike! We learned abstract art, still life and painted large murals with appropriate Atayal designs!  

Exhibition Dates!!

We are glad to announce the exhibition dates!  The Exhibition date will be November 5th to November 19th!  This is the time to check out the art works before they are auctioned off at the final event!  The Final Event will be on the evening of November 19th!  There will be a short video of the project, live music by the Children’s aborigine Choir, other aborigine bands, small fashion show of Atayal clothing and last but not least the AUCTION!!!  It will be held at the Pavilion of Aroma of Flowers…http://taiwanpaf.org/web/

Art Workshop date change…

Saturday, September 24th, 2011  1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

The date of the Art Workshop has changed so we can have Roma Mehta join us! Roma Mehta is well known for her art and community services.  She is also the Editor of the magazine “Centered on Taipei”.  We are excited to welcome her to make a difference with the children of the Chingchuan Village.

Photo Workshop Success!!!

Last weekend was a great success!  Volunteers from all over the world came together to teach the aborigine children how to take photos!  With laughter and creativity the children enjoyed the workshop!  Please check out the wonderful photos by Up Against the Wall Asia!

Art Workshop

Photo Workshop with Jeff Evans
